Carbon has helped us build everything we have, almost all carbon emissions come from industries that shape up our world. With Green Global Footprint Initiative (GGFI) we believe that progress doesn't have to cost our planet and now moving forward we need to leave the carbon behind transit into a clean energy where it is needed the most creating a brighter, carbon free future.

Who We Are

Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiative. From the moment we started our work at the beginning of 2022, we understood that by working together we could overcome the existential Climate Change challenge much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Green Global Footprint Initiative. We strive to make a positive change in climate change action. We believe as young leaders that there is absolutely nothing we can achieve acting alone and governments cannot get this transformation done alone, we are coming on board and actively participating and responding to the wrath of devious strikes of climate change that has been experienced in most parts of Kenya. Communities and humanitarian organizations and initiatives are calling for drought to be declared a national disaster but we're not doing enough to prevent this disaster.

The transport sector is identified as the highest and the fastest-growing carbon emitter and we are generally being proactive in mitigating this disaster we are glaring. The GGFI takes the initiative of engaging the next generation of Ev drivers and owners creating awareness and mediating a smooth transition from gas vehicles to electric by embracing and adopting E-mobility.

EV AWARENESS EVENT

Feeling like there are countless pressing issues that no single program could make a marked difference? Our local empowerment initiative has proven to be a powerful tool for the Green Global Footprint Initiative to successfully serve our community with how positively we will adopt and embrace E-mobility in most developing countries in Africa, the new technology facing a lot of skepticism, misconception, range anxiety and Ev unawareness among the public which is an undermining factor in the quest of the uptake and embrace of Electric Vehicles. GGFI has rolled out an effective strategy on how to adopt this new technology, we are organizing one of a kind Ev awareness event scheduled for January 2023 to pitch the GGFI public charging point installation, a move that can effectively encourage the public to confidently own an Electric Vehicle.

PUBLIC CHARGING POINTS

As Kenya's new E-mobility policy gets better and better, the number of new Electric Vehicles will also increase. As an integral infrastructure for the adoption of Electric vehicles, Ev charging points have been far behind the development of new Electric vehicles, and have become one of the bottlenecks hindering the faster development of new Electric vehicles. Many Electric car owners say charging is difficult, in my recent visit to the Nopearide private charging point one of the drives shared with me the most challenging problem the 100% Electric cub fleet is facing in the country with only four charging points in the whole of Nairobi. The investment in the charging station is huge and it is difficult for the charging station to generate economic benefits for enterprises, thus this development is being overlooked, GGFI is looking to solve that problem more sustainably without necessarily building for economic benefits but for the public good, building back better from bottom for the future to solve a problem.

NOUREY'S ELECTRIC FORECOURT

With the transition to Evs in the region imminent a new concept has just arrived, The Electric Forecourt which is reimagined of the traditional filing station, designed to make charging an Electric Vehicle as simple as using a petrol station. It's important to make it much easier for people to understand what an electric vehicle is, how electric vehicles can be useful to induvial and our environment, show the next generation of Ev drivers and owners where they can save money, our contribution to the net zero with our solar farm projects, keep charging speed consistent and fast and make Ev efficient, reliable and relatable.

Recognizing the enormity of the challenges our society faces, GGFI is dedicated to making a lasting impact. While our efforts are driven by our organization’s focus, we spread a wide net by investing in a variety of programs. We look forward to building an Electric forecourt to make charging an electric vehicle the most awesome, enjoyable, ultra-convenient, and stress-free experience it can be.
